I studied at the university of Valencia and the University of Mainz. After that, I worked at GSI in the theory group, working on the nuclear shell model and the half-lives of nuclei relevant for the r-process. Then I moved to Santiago de Compostela to do a PhD in cosmic muons. I was involved in the design and construction of a muon tomography system based on cosmic radiation. After that, I moved to Karlsruhe as a postdoc to work in simulations and software development for XENON and DARWIN. I can't live without jazz, rugby and books.
