We are conducting research in experimental particle astrophysics, with focus on direct dark matter detection and searches for the neutrinoless double beta decay. We have leading contributions to the XENON and GERDA experiments, and are involved in the future DARWIN and LEGEND projects.
In addition, we are running several smaller, R&D experiments in our laboratory at the University if Zurich and operate an ultra-low background HPGe spectrometer (Gator) at the Gran Sasso Laboratory in Italy.
