Alexander Bismark studied physics at the University of Freiburg and completed his Master’s degree with a thesis on the simulation and characterization of a LXe TPC for DARWIN R&D. He joined our group as a PhD student in March 2020 as part of both the XENON and DARWIN collaboration. He is particularly interested in rare events physics including neutrino and, of course, direct dark matter experiments. Besides physics he enjoys cycling, hiking and running.
