The module booking is done online according to the general guidelines of the university. How many and which modules are completed per semester is basically up to the student. However, it should be noted that the modules are offered in an annual cycle. Certain modules are building up and can only be booked once the prerequisites published in the course catalogue have been fulfilled. Please note the booking deadlines of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Modules can be cancelled until approximately the middle of the semester.
Modules at ETHZ can be taken if no similar modules are offered at UZH. This requires prior registration as a student at ETH, which must be reconfirmed each semester. ETH modules can then be booked online via myStudies.
The online lectures catalogue provides information on all available modules at the University of Zurich. It contains the title, number of ECTS credits, the person responsible for the module, module requirements, time and room, language, as well as information on registration and examinations.
