B physics

Precision measurements of observables in the decays of B mesons are one of the core physics goals of the LHCb experiment. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. N. Serra, members of our group are making significant contributions to several analyses in the fields of rare B decays mediated by Electroweak Penguin processes and in semileptonic B decays. In addition, Dr. A. Puig pursues analyses of radiative B decays as part of his research project funded through an SNF Ambitione grant while Dr. R. Silva Coutinho pursues analyses of charmless B decays as part of his research project funded through another SNF Ambitione grant.
