Higgs@10
We celebrate the 10th birthday of the Higgs discovery
with an informative walk through Irchelpark on July 3 and 4:
- What is an atom made of?
- What connects particle physics with pyramids?
- Is it true that antimatter is used in medicine?
- What exactly is the Higgs particle and how is it searched for?
These are just some of the questions addressed on this walk. On Sunday, July 3rd, UZH physicists will be there to answer questions - they will be easily recognisable with their special t-shirts.
On Monday, July 4th self-guided tours are possible, in addition guided tours will be available for groups who register.
