I did my undergraduate and doctoral studies at the University of Birmingham and Imperial College London. I work for the LHCb experiment - a collaboration of over 1000 people from all over the world. I have been a postdoctoral researcher at Zurich since 2016. My main focus has been to search for new particles that influence the decays of beauty quarks via the Heisenberg uncertainty principle. The particular beauty decays that I study are known as 'semileptonic' decays, where both hadrons and leptons are produced.
