Patrick Forrester was a guest researcher (Fullbright fellowship) from UC Berkeley, USA. Patrick developed the recipes to etch STM tips for spin-polarized tunneling made from antiferromagnetic Mn₈₈Ni₁₂ and Cr material and performed the first successful ESR experiments on the newly upgraded ESR-STM. He then moved to NIST, Gaithersburg, MD, USA, and presently pursues a PhD at Harvard University, USA.
