How Particle Physics works: About ten years ago, the LHCb experiment at CERN began reporting a series of puzzling results—hints that there might be a new fundamental force of nature. Over time, some of these results evolved and the apparent “anomalies” disappeared. Others, however, remain stubbornly intriguing. Along the way, they’ve sparked excitement, concern, and—above all—lively debate among scientists, offering a great real-world example of how science actually works. We’ve tried to capture this fascinating scientific journey in a series of short videos, and we’ve just released the latest episode (and hopefully not the last one):
